PRETTY THINGS — 2025

Nicole Capozzi, Boxheart Gallery, has described my artworks as, “intimate, mysterious, personal poems,” and I hope the paintings and drawings this exhibition read as such. The art in Pretty Things included still life, figurative and some color experiments. I took inspiration from artists such as Melchior d’Hondecoeter, Tiepolo, and Franz Snyders; re-imagined elements from their paintings, and integrated them to my own more flat, contemporarily-hued compositions.
