New Renaissance AI : An artificial intelligence project
In this project I used an early version of Stable Diffusion to creating imagery reminiscent of flawed classical painting. The serendipitous process rendered lovely, if sometimes unsettling, artworks. My goal was to textually manipulate the technology into creating images reminiscent of lost, classical works of art, created by lesser, or unknown, artists. All the artworks here are the result of my text prompts and are not digitally altered. The software has become much more sophisticated, outputting more and more highly rendered and refined imagery, and now find it very difficult to manipulate it into creating these flawed and somewhat haunted, melancholy artworks.
