Learn to draw at your convenience. My Introduction to Drawing course is now available for rent or purchase.
Watch previews for each lesson below.
This 7-lesson Introduction to Drawing course is based on my comparable in-person course, and takes you through basic concepts and skills important for learning to draw in a realist manner from observation using charcoal on paper. In every lesson I go through the supplies you need, tell you how to set up your own still life (or you’re welcome to draw my split-screen still life), and guide you through each drawing. The lessons build on each other and are meant to be done in sequence, but you are welcome work through the lessons in any order you choose. Individual lessons are great for brushing up on your skills. Below each preview is a downloadable PDF link to a supplies list.
All lessons are available for a weekly rental individually or as a 3-month rental package. You can also download lessons each lesson individually or as a package. More info below, or go here.
